How long have you been in business?
Mayflower Homemakers has been in business since 1997. Many of our original cleaning people are still with us. We are a year round full service Property Management Company with a cleaning service as our primary focus; residential, post construction, and commercial. We service many realtors for last clean and/or first clean of a real estate transaction. We manage apartment complexes and know the 40B Rules. We provide an as needed home watch for Seasonal clients.
What is your primary product or service?
Cleaning: Residential, Commercial. Carpets, Power Washing Decks and Walkways. Home Watch for seasonal clients.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I moved to Cape Cod s a permanent resident in 2006. I used my 24 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Operations to buy a small local business and grow it to 400% of its original size and still growing!!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I personally perform all the estimates for all aspects of the company. Based on the personality of each client I then assign the appropriate person from my company (sometimes it's me) to perform the activity needed. We are a licensed business with the Commonwealth and are fully insured.We have a 100% Service Guarantee. We created the first cleaning standard for cleaning companies throughout Cape Cod. We guarantee the same person goes into your home and/or office each and every time we perform a service. This provides our clients with consistency.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We keep our overhead costs down by creating home offices. We currently have 7 covering Bourne to Brewster.

We prefer credit cards (exc Discover). We take credit and debit cards, checks and cash.
Which areas do you service?
Bourne to Brewster for cleaning services. One time cleaning, apartment management and property management from New Bedford to Provincetown.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
It is an LLC - I am the primary owner.
What are your hours of operation?
7am-12 midnight.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The warm referral to a friend or neighbor, so we may continue to grow our local service company.
