How long have you been in business?
45 years, 15 were in a very small "weekend" shop in Ct.
Began here on the Cape in 1982.
What is your primary product or service?
Selling the vintage lamps and fixtures that I restore and rewire, Also in the off season we do some lamp and fixture rewireing for the public.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Several factors, but growing up in a Mississippi farm without electricity in the early years might be the largest influince.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We feel that we provide the best quality available without "guilding lillys" in other words try to keep the lamp or fixture as close as possible to what it was when newley made...no short cuts. Best quality wire, etc. safety is always the prime concern.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Two, main store in Orleans, andMany celing pendants and chandeliers in The Farmhouse Antiques Rt.6A, Wellfleet(across from the Wellfleet Drive-in Theater.
