How long have you been in business?
The Highlander has been in operation since the late 50's. The current owners have owned the motel for 10 1/2 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Accomidations and Hospitality
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Wanting to get involved in a hospitality business in the Cape Cod area. The manger took B&B training in Ohio.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are in a central location between Hyannis and Provincetown. The center of town is within walking distance. We are known for our cleaniness and attention to detail.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location
Provide detailed directions to your location
From Boston, take Rt 3S to the Sagamore Bridge. From Providnce take I-195 to Rt 25 to Sagamore Bridge. Take Rt 6 to exit 11. Turn lt onto Rt 137 and go 3 miles to the end. Do NOT TURN LEFT AT THE BLINKING LIGHTS. Tun lt onto Rt 28 and go 2.6 miles. The Chatham Highlander is on your left. The office is at the second entrance.
What type of payments do you accept?
We except all Major Credit Cards, Traveler checks, cashier checks and cash.
Which areas do you service?
We serve the lower and outer Cape areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The owners are Sean and Lori OConnell and the manager is Beth Sargent (Lori's sister).
What are your hours of operation?
The office is opened from 8am til 10pm. If you are to arrive later then 10pm we have a late arrival box outside the office.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
